Poet's Elegy - Mythologie Candles

~ I just wanted to show this candle that is currently for sale at Mythologie Candles, Poet's Elegy.  Not only is it perfect for someone who writes poetry but the design is gorgeous and the accompanying description is poetic as well.  One reason why I love how Mythologie markets their candles, they set the atmosphere and mood.  I do wish that their candles were a bit cheaper.  I believe you can find coupons online for their candles.  Again, I am not an affiliate and I don't work for them, just admire their products.

"Clouds cross the moon as the cloaked figure enters the neglected graveyard. The rusted hinges protest as the gate swings open, the sound a cry of anguish in the quiet night. The visitor glides forward, through the dried grass and choking vines that have overwhelmed this forgotten corner of the church grounds.

She sits upon a stone, staring into the night, at one particular grave, guarded by a stone angel, the inscription worn by ages. The vines are thickest here, dripping with ripening pumpkins, orange and round.

From her vest pocket, the watcher withdraws a small, leather-bound book. With the stub of a pencil she crafts her song, of loss and things long forgotten, of loneliness and longing.

By daybreak, she is gone. Upon the grave a wilted rose and a folded letter remain."
