Whimsical Dark Cottagecore Cocktails

~ I found this enchanting site, Opomnia.com while I was looking for dark cottagecore art.  I don't tend to drink very often but these would definitely be on my list of cocktails to try and the accompanying artwork for each drink is gorgeous.  I've added two samples:

The Dark Forest

"The Dark Forest" was said to have been inspired by a journey through a dense and mysterious forest, filled with strange creatures and whispers on the wind. The whiskey, blackberry liqueur, and fresh blackberries were said to embody the dark and mysterious beauty of the forest, while the sprig of rosemary represented the mysterious whispers of the wind.

• 2 oz dark rum
• 1 oz black cherry liqueur
• 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
• 1/4 oz maple syrup
• Fresh thyme sprig, for garnish

Combine the rum, black cherry liqueur, lime juice, and maple syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a chilled glass filled with ice. Garnish with a sprig of fresh thyme.

The Midnight Garden

"The Midnight Garden" was said to have been inspired by a secret garden that only bloomed under the light of the moon. The black vodka, blackcurrant liqueur, and pomegranate juice were said to represent the dark and mysterious flowers that bloomed in this magical garden, while the dried flower garnish added a touch of whimsy.

• 2 oz black vodka
• 1 oz blackcurrant liqueur
• 1 oz pomegranate juice
• 1/2 oz simple syrup
• Dried flower petals, for garnish

Combine the vodka, blackcurrant liqueur, pomegranate juice, and simple syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a chilled glass filled with ice. Garnish with dried flower petals.
